CITY OF EDMONTON ANNOUNCE A DOWNTOWN ARENA DEVELOPMENT (10/27/2011)

Edmonton, AB --- The Edmonton Rush is very excited for the City of Edmonton and The Katz Group with the announcement of the Downtown Arena. The Edmonton Rush fully support this development. The new possibilities that this development will bring to the City of Edmonton are endless.

As an organization and professional sports team we have showcased the City of Edmonton across provincial and national borders and highlighted the great features Edmonton has to offer as a place to visit and a place to live in. We feel that the work we have done over the past seven years, both in our community and outside warrants an interest of sponsorship from the City of Edmonton.

By investing in Edmonton and making it our home we have generated over 20 million dollars in our six years of operations for our partners involved in our organization without assistance.

The words concession revenue, parking revenue, marketing and sponsorship are words of interest to us as professional sports team in the City of Edmonton.

We look forward to working with the City of Edmonton on a sponsorship marketing partnership agreement for professional lacrosse.
