Edmonton traded 6 th round 2005 pick to Rochester in exchange for 6 th round pick in 2006.
A highlight of the evening was when the Edmonton Rush selected two local players from the Edmonton Miners Junior “A” Lacrosse Team. Greg Whitenect and Jon Marrese are currently playing in the Minto Cup here in Edmonton.
“We are very excited with all of our selections,” Paul Day, General Manager/Head Coach said “We are thrilled to be able to pick up a couple local players as well and watch them develop.”
The Edmonton Rush franchise was awarded to Edmonton on May 5, 2005 by the National Lacrosse League.
