Edmonton, AB - Prior to game time today GM/Head Coach Paul Day announced that defence player Andrew Turner will wear the “C” for the NLL expansion team. He also announced that offense players Brad Dairon and well-known local player Jamey Bowen will wear the “A’s”.

“These young men have shown leadership in the dressing room that this team requires in its first season” states Day “They have played in the league and have a strong knowledge of the game.”

The Rush took to the floor for its first exhibition game against the NLL expansion team the Portland Lumberjax. In the first minutes of the game it was evident that the Lumberjax have played a game already this season. The Rush quickly put together the game plan to give the Lumberjax a furious battle.
