Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Rush Lacrosse Club added a few more names to their roster today from the NLL Dispersal Draft. The Edmonton Rush selected defenceman Rory Glaves with their first overall pick in the dispersal of the Anaheim Storm 2005 roster. Edmonton also selected defenceman Damien Davis, 12th overall, in the second round.

“We are very happy with our selections. We chose the very best from Anaheim,” Paul Day, General Manager and Head Coach stated. “Rory Glaves is a strong, fast and tough defenceman that has all the tools to be successful. He is the type of player we can build a team around.”

The Edmonton Rush franchise was awarded to Edmonton on May 5, 2005 by the National Lacrosse League.
