The Edmonton Rush will kick off the season on January 6th versus the San Jose Stealth, and then go straight into a doubleheader with Calgary: January 13 in Calgary and at home January 21. This will be the first two of four matches against the Roughnecks throughout the season. The Rush will host the defending NLL Champions, Toronto Rock, on February 11. March will be an exciting month for lacrosse fans, with seven Rush games – four at home (March 4, 17, 25 and 31). The Rush take on the Colorado Mammoth two times (March 3 and 25), and the Arizona Sting (March 4 and 10). The final three games of the season will be versus the other expansion team, Portland Lumberjax, with the last two in Portland.
“We like the schedule, however, it will be a tough start taking on the defending champions of the last few years.” AJ Jomha, Director of Lacrosse Operations said. “The first month will test our young players and set the standard for the level that they will need to play at. We are up to the challenge.”

Edmonton Rush 2006 season tickets go on sale September 24th to the general public with a kick off event at Rexall Place. Along with selecting seats, fans will enjoy meeting Edmonton Rush players, rides on the Rush monster truck and enter to win prizing with a complete party atmosphere. As a special incentive for buying a lower bowl season ticket, the purchaser will receive a special edition Edmonton Rush jersey, worth an approximate retail value of $100.
The Edmonton Rush franchise was awarded to Edmonton on May 5, 2005 by the National Lacrosse League.
