Edmonton vs Portland
The Portland LumberJax defeated the Edmonton Rush, 11-7, at the Rose Garden on Friday evening. With the victory, the LumberJax have clinched a home playoff game. Portland is also in position to win the West Division title, which they can clinch with a victory tommorow night at Minnesota.

If Colorado defeats Calgary tommorow evening, Portland will also clinch the West Division regardless of their result against Minnesota.

Portland led Edmonton 4-1 at halftime, with Dallas Eliuk recording 15 saves and allowing only one goal in 30 minutes of action. Backup Aaron Bold finished the game for the Jax, earning his first win of the season. Bold finished with 19 saves on 6 goals against.

Peter Morgan (2 goals, 3 assists), Mike Hominuck (2 goals, 2 assists), Shawn Cable (2 goals, 1 assist) were impressive on the LumberJax offense.

Jamey Bowen (3 goals, 2 assists) led the Edmonton offense. 46-year old Dwight Maetche recorded 49 saves in goal for the Rush.

Portland (10-5) meet the Minnesota Swarm tommorow evening at Xcel Energy Center tommorow night. Edmonton finishes the season with a 1-15 record.
