Jason Wulder, born in Calgary, currently resides in Chilliwack, BC, signed as free agent with the Calgary Roughnecks in 2002. In his five year tenure with the Roughnecks he has averaged over 22 goals, 31 assists and 53 points per season. Prior to joining the Roughnecks, Wulder played with the New York Saints from 1995-2001. In 2001, Wulder was the WLA's Rookie of the Year; won Mann Cup with Coquitlam Adanacs in 2001 and won the NLL Champion's Cup with the Calgary Roughnecks in 2004.
"Jason is a player who can score from the outside and is very creative around the net. He is a player that will make others around him better.” states General Manager/Head Coach Paul Day. “He has always had a great shooting and scoring percentage and with the Rush will get more opportunity to have the ball. We will look for him to lead our offense and power play, he has won in the NLL and we are excited to have his experience."
Also, late last week the Rush traded assistant captain Brad Dairon in exchange for a conditional selection in the 2008 Entry Draft to the Arizona Sting.

BUFFALO BANDITS: Traded forward AJ Shannon and their first round selection in the 2007 Entry Draft to the Edmonton Rush in exchange for their 3rd overall selection in the 2006 Entry Draft.
The NLL's free agent signing period begins today. Teams will begin signing unrestricted free agents to contracts and restricted free agents to offer sheets. Once a restricted free agent signs an offer sheet with another club, his club from last season will have the opportunity to retain the player by matching the offer.
