For the second year in a row, the East Division All-Stars will be coached by a Rochester Knighthawks head coach. This season Ed Comeau, who is in his first year as head coach for Rochester, will take the honors after leading the Knighthawks to an East Division best 4-1 record to start the season. Former Knighthawks coach Paul Day earned the honors last season and coached the East Division All-Stars to an 11-10 overtime victory in the 2005 All-Star Game. Comeau, currently on a four game win streak with the Knighthawks heading into Week Seven, will make his first appearance as an All-Star Game head coach.
The West Division All-Stars will be coached by Arizona Sting head coach Bob Hamley. The Sting guaranteed Hamley a spot on the West Division bench by securing a West Division best 3-1 record. Hamley, the league's 2005 head coach and General Manager of the Year, will serve as Head coach in an All-Star game for the first time.
Lindsay Sanderson will serve as an assistant coach for the East Division All-Star team after leading the club to a 3-1 record to start the season. The Wings are currently second in the East Division behind Rochester.
Calgary Roughnecks head coach Chris Hall will serve as the assistant coach for the West Division. Hall has led the Roughnecks to a 3-3 record.
