Be a part of the battle!
Wear black. Be proud. And BE LOUD!

Slush and the Rush OCC Chopper

Lacrosse fans are rough, rowdy and vocal, and the team will count on them to create an imposing atmosphere at the game. Fans who come dressed and battle ready will be selected to compete on field at half time for a trip for two to see the Edmonton Rush take on the Toronto Rock on Friday, January 27th.
Also during half time, there will be a tribute to the legacy of professional sport in Edmonton and a special on-field appearance by players from the 2005 Grey Cup Championship team, the Edmonton Eskimos, along with the Edmonton Eskimo Cheer Team and Nanook, the team's mascot.
The Edmonton Rush will also salute the next generation of lacrosse superstars, with a special exhibition "Battle of Alberta" half time game. Tyke division players, aged seven to nine, will participate in a special Calgary vs. Edmonton exhibition game to commemorate the first professional Battle of Alberta lacrosse game played in Edmonton.
The team will continue to thrill fans with its combination of fast-paced game play and on-site entertainment. The team's Orange Country Chopper, mascot Slush, Rush monster truck, Edmonton's Crush dance team, and DJ Rush, will add to the atmosphere and ambiance and will ensure there is a thrill-a-minute on the field and non-stop entertainment before, during and after the game.
