The Arizona Sting have acquired forward Brad Dairon from the Edmonton Rush in exchange for a conditional selection in the 2008 Entry Draft. Dairon, a six-year NLL veteran, registered 15 goals and 21 assists with Edmonton last season, playing in all 16 of the expansion team's games.

"We're very pleased to be adding Brad to our roster," said Hamley. "He's a proven draw man in this league and gives us some size up front."

Dairon, who served as Assistant Captain for the Rush in 2006, currently works as a firefighter in his hometown of Burnaby, BC. The 6 ft, 235 lb. left-hander won 113 of 233 faceoffs last season.

It's been an active off-season for the Rush, who've now made three trades in the past month. Those trades have brought in players including Dan Stroup, Chris Gill and AJ Shannon.
