Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Rush signed two players today on the road to San Jose. The Rush face the San Jose Stealth tonight in San Jose after a 15-9 loss last night to the Arizona Sting at the Glendale Arena.
In attempt to strengthen offense for the Rush, GM/Head Coach, Paul Day, signed former Arizona Sting offensive left-hander Jason Clark. The 5'9", 180 lbs, Toronto native was released yesterday from the Sting. Clark will play tonight.
Also playing tonight is recently signed defensive player from the Calgary Roughnecks, Rob Williams. A veteran player, Williams, resides in Burnaby, British Columbia, has twice won the Minto Cup (1993 and 1995), Canada's top trophy for amateur lacrosse players. The face-off specialist will also play tonight.
The Rush also returned Shane Pederson to the practice roster and placed Peter Gut on the injury reserve.
