Beginning with last Friday’s broadcast against the Colorado Mammoth, the Rush will have a total of six games airing on Shaw TV Cable 10. These broadcasts will include two games directly produced by Shaw and four games where Shaw will pick up the live feed from the American host broadcaster and incorporate its own pre-game, halftime and post-game components.
"We are very pleased to be involved with Shaw Cable this season and after watching the first game, we are extremely happy with the results," said Rush President Duane Vienneau.
"Without a national broadcaster for the NLL in Canada it was vital that we find another route to showcase our team and our sport. It is very important to us that our fans are able to keep track of our progress throughout the year, particularly when we are playing on the road.
"Shaw Cable has put together a great package that I feel the fans of the Rush will truly enjoy."
The remaining five games on the Shaw Cable schedule are:
Saturday, Feb. 10 - Arizona Sting at Edmonton Rush, 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 23 - Portland LumberJax at Edmonton Rush, 7 p.m.
Saturday, March 31 - Edmonton Rush at New York Titans, 10:30 a.m.
Sunday, April 1 - Edmonton Rush at Chicago Shamrox, 2 p.m.
Friday, April 13 - Edmonton Rush at Portland LumberJax, 8:30 p.m.
As a reminder to all Rush fans, every Rush game will be carried by B2 Networks, the official broadband broadcaster of the NLL. Check out www.nll.com for more details and the complete schedule.
