The Edmonton Rush acquired goaltender Matt Disher from the Minnesota Swarm in exchange for the fifth overall selection in Tuesday's dispersal draft. The nine-year veteran spent the last three seasons with Minnesota, splitting time with Nick Patterson. The Swarm used the dispersal pick on forward Andy Secore, before spending their own first round pick (seventh overall) on former Roughnecks goaltender Ryan Avery.
2008 season tickets for the Rush are on sale now.
