Brodie is regarded as one of the top players in the National Lacrosse League and was named Best Player in the World by Inside Lacrosse ... Ended last season by being named the NLL's Top Transition Player after notching 47 points (second-best career total) and a career-best 216 loose balls ... Has played in three NLL All-Star Games ... Broke into the NLL in style being named both the Rookie and Defensive Player of the Year in 2006 ... Led Canada to the gold medal at the 2006 World Field Lacrosse Championship and was named Best Defender and received All-World honours ... Played the 2009 summer outdoor season with the Toronto Nationals and helped the team win the MLL championship with eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 12 regular-season games ... Has been named the MLL's Defensive Player of the Year for four consecutive seasons - previously playing for Baltimore and Rochester ... Was named the MLL's Rooke of the Year in 2005 ...
